The Tiger bonded elves once lived in harmony with each other, but when food became scarce the large tribe split. A band headed towards the snowy mountains, another west in to the plains, and one south to the distant jungles.
Our story is about the tribe who traveled in to the plains. Their Chief was named Sixflames, and after traveling for 9 days and nights he settled his tribe in the plains near a river. Food was plentiful at the time. And so life went on, the other tribes became legends and myths.
Sixflames recognized and then raised Chieftess Calmwind. The time passed, and of course our elves changed, they died and life was created... During her chieftanship (word) Calmwind gave birth to Fallingsky.
This is when there is a twist of fate making the plains tigers what they are today. Two Lovemates named Sunflower and Darkstripe were banished, for running away from a battle when they were most needed to Fallingsky. Sunflower and Darkstripe searched for the tigers of legends.
Traveling towards the distant snowy mountains, with only their two bonded tigers. They reached the mountains, after two moon phases. Luckly for the lovemates they were found by the Snowclaws, who after seeing their tigers welcomed them warmly. A healer in the clan offered Sunflower and Darkmoon a child of their own. They accepted with out a second thought and soon had a son named Frost.
The family went on living with the Snowclaws until their own tigers died and were replaced by the beautiful white ones. Frost soon fell head over heels for a lovely girl named Snowsong. She had long straight white blond hair and beautiful copper eyes. Which was common trait with in the snowclaws clan. She was a sweet girl and could not say no when Frost wooed her.
Lucky enough for them the highones agreed with the pair and the two recognized after years of hoping and waiting. They had small Sensa, who was rebellious from the start. She was the exact replica of her mother in looks. But her wild spirit came else where. She wanted to find the tribe her grandparents orange tiger pelts had come from. So when she reached an age she left to travel to the planes her grandparents spoke of.
After the banishing, Fallingsky, eventually recognized Dreamstar and together they raised the next chief in line named Sunspear
Life continued as normally as it could, but food was become scarce, animals new better then to go near that part of the river. No matter what Sunspear tried it never worked. Eventually he died and his Cheif title was past to his only child Darkwing.
This is when a twist of fate would cause to tribes bloodlines to intermix. Darkwing and his hunters were following a herd from the river, when Sensa arrived. The tribe was wary of the pale white tigerrider.
A few of the elves new that being bonded to a tiger meant that she was of some relation to themselves. She was enthusiastic of finally meeting another tiger tribe.
She was given food and bedding and it was soon discovered that she was the grandchild of Sunflower and Darkstripe. That at this time were only told in stories.
Darkwing arrived to an anxious tribe who whispered the strange visitor to him when he arrived. At first he drew his sword and unmounted his tiger to allow it to spring if need be.
However when Sensa was led to him, he was brought up short when her copper eyes meet his. She was beautiful and fair, other then her eyes, yet a strong force brought them together.
The two became the perfect Lifemates, sweet opposites and very much in love. Their first cub was named Shadow, then 10 years after him came little Skyfly.
Sensa and Skyfly where in their peaceful burrow when the news reached them of tragedy. Darkwing and Shadow had taken a scouting trip, in a canyon not far away. Shadow had slipped and Darkwing moved to grab him, and ended up falling instead of his son.
Sensa heard the news and after weeping over her mates dead body shot death glares at her son, who had inherited his fathers looks, except for his eyes.
Sensa cried herself to sleep and when the tribe awoke, she and Skyfly was gone along with her old white tigress. The tribe cried the loss of now three elves. But in the mist of their crying the tigress returned carry a crying bundle in her mouth like she would hold a small kitten.
Shadow took his little sister from the tiger before it bounded away to find her beloved elffriend again.
Being blamed for the death of his father, and having to raise his sister caused him to go insane at a very young age...
When he wasn't declaring war with another tribe of elves, trolls or humans, He was talking to himself, pebbles or trees.
Most in the clan ignored him, or feared him. Though this bronze haired male was insane he still had the respect of his tribe members.
The Clan lived in a field at this time, usually digging burrows in to the side of hills and living below the earth. It was not the best choice for shelter, hunting or protection but Shadow thought it was wonderful.
At a council meeting one night, he ranted about who they would battle, for no apparent reason. When his eyes fell on a young maiden by the name of Dew.
Named for her twinkling violet eyes she was the beauty of the tribe. Her hair was dark brown and curled down to her hourglass waist. It is unknown to all why the highones choose this moment for soul to meet soul, eyes to meet eyes.
Shadow immediately gave in and was ready to join. However Dew had other plans, she hated her chief and did not want to carry his cub, be his mate, or the second in command. She simply wanted to dance and live her sweet maiden life.
After speaking with her good friend Gentlepalm she decided that she would join with him, however they would not be lifemates and Dew would raise their child in to what she wished them to be.
She vowed that this child would not stop her, would not slow her down, or make her loose her figure.
After the joining Dew pretended it hadn't happened, and refused Shadow all together. This sent him in to even more insanity. During her pregnancy, Dew was taken care of by the rest of the tribe.
Two years after the joining Dew went in to labor and with help from Gentlepalm and her healer son Falcon who only was about 7 she gave birth to a small baby girl.
The baby was presented to the tribe that night after Dew awoke and refreshed. The small baby opened her eyes and peered at her kin with beautiful copper eyes. Thus she was named Copper.
Shadow looked at his daughter once and walked away muttering about how he wanted a son. From that moment on Copper was raised by the rest of her tribe.
As the young elfess grew to be the young chief she learned to not do what her father does. Copper grew prettier everyday, and looked more and more like her mother, except for her eyes. Which were undoubtedly her fathers.
Dew was still as beautiful as ever and took on many mates. One day after a hunt went bad and the teenage Falcon was called to the scene, Shadow blamed Dew.
She had not been present but his jealousy and insanity lead him to believe it was her doing.
Dew's body was found in her den by her daughter... she had been murdered!
Copper was filled with rage, she was tired of living with no cover, no food, and now no mother. She challenged Shadow...and won.
After a banishment Copper took over the tribe and immediately moved them to a new holt. Leaving behind the world that she had grown to despise. After 3 turns of the moon they arrived in a forest. There were no signs of Elves or tigers just endless green forest.
Finally Copper and her clan found the perfect place to live, it was warm in the summer and cool in the winter. It had endless food just in plants, and large slow animals. Everything was sweet smelling and beautiful. There were Valleys and waterfalls, rocks and mist.
Nothing of the previous holt existed in this world, So it was name "Paradise"
